Monday Musings: My favorite Halloween story

How being a Christian is like being a pumpkin: 

God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off you may have gotten from the other pumpkins.
Then he cuts the top off and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."

Love that.  I think about it everytime we carve pumpkins.  My family thinks it's wierd but I love getting all the guck out.  Maybe, for me, subconsciously or consciously it's symbolic.

Today, was a fabulous day.  I cleaned, made cookies and listened to uplifting music.  One of the songs I listened to help me express  how the Savior can make me and my life better than I can.  I'll share:
