Monday Musings: In Happy Ways

One of my favorite quotes about womanhood is:

Much of the major growth that is coming to the Church in the last days will come because many of the good women of the world (in whom there is often such an inner sense of spirituality) will be drawn to the Church in large numbers. This will happen to the degree that the women of the Church reflect righteousness and articulateness in their lives and to the degree that the women of the Church are seen as distinct and different—in happy ways—from the women of the world.  (President Spencer W. Kimball Italics mine)

I hope to reflect righteousness and articulateness happy ways.  Yet I'm fighting this monster called Depression and happiness is a goal I hope to reach soon.

One of my daughters has a happy list.  So I am going to blog randomly some things that make me happy.  It's a "what makes me happy brainstorm":

My bright happy kitchen (thanks to Marc)
My Kids
Gerber daisies
any kind of daisies
deer frolicking
Michael Buble
Friends who care
children's books
reading scriptures
walking barefoot in the grass
my bike
Provo trail
wild flowers
digital scrapbooking
Steven Wright quotes

Feeling happier just coming up with the list.  Now if I can just beat this Depression for good I will be happy and be a woman that can serve in the Lord's Kingdom.
