Nothing like Spring to enjoy Strawberries. Strawberry Shortcake is the way to go. I could say I made the cake, grew the strawberries but I didn't. I took the lazy route. I went to Macey's bought an Angel Food Cake, Cool whip, and Strawberries.
I did exert effort by slicing the strawberries and adding sugar and I cut the Cake.
For Family Night we assembled our Strawberry Shortcakes and I can't imagine it tasting better if I had made it myself.
